Belbin Test

The Belbin Test University is an instrument for self-assessment of the team role. It allows you to determine activity preferences in a team and to better assess your role.

This test works entirely in the browser. No information is stored.

Procedure

You will be presented with several sections, for each of which nine sentences are suggested. Allocate a total of 10 points to the sentences that you think best describe your behavior. In extreme cases, you can divide the points between all sentences or assign all points to a single sentence.

Once you have successfully completed all sections, the evaluation + result will take place.

Interpretation of the results

The highest score for a team role indicates where the test person is most effective in a team. The second-highest score can indicate which team role the individual can take on as a substitute if, for some reason, the group does not need the primarily suitable team role as much. The two lowest scores for team roles indicate possible weaknesses.

However, it is more advisable for the person to use a colleague with corresponding strengths in the team role than to try to remedy these weaknesses. The classification is always a snapshot that reflects the current team context and not necessarily an absolute preference.
